The obituary notice of Patrick (Paddy) KENNY

Here is man who simply lived for others. Pat served his people in accordance with Gospel teaching. I first met him in 1964 in St. Patrick's Parish where he signed me up as a Juvenile member of the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association and over sixty years later I can still wear the badge. Pat appointed me as his group secretary. He was my first football coach. Time was unimportant to Pat when it came to reaching out to people. Friends boasted of their being trained as boxers by this fine Olympian.

Pat will be remembered as a calm, kind, patient, modest and caring man. May his loving and gentle soul be rewarded with eternal peace in the mansions of Heaven.
